Comicpalooza is the biggest convention for comics and superhero fanfare in all of Texas.  This year was it’s ten year anniversary and they had a nice lineup of celebrities from Tom Holland to John Cusack.  With so many activities from cosplay competitions to celebrity panels and thousands of vendors, you will be quite overwhelmed.

BB’S Cafe Review

If you love Cajun cuisine with a “Tex-Orlean” twist, then BB’s Cafe is your place.  The food is outstanding with a nice selection of tasty Po’Boys to Louisiana classics such as crayfish by the pound.  Also, Tex-Orlean dishes are worth trying such as the Boudin Flauta which is stuffed with crab.

Ritual offers amazing Texas cuisine that is all supplied by local and Texas farmers.  Everything is fresh and absolutely delicious.  Certainly a meat eater’s paradise with noticeable items such as the beef brisket burger and steaks from the Butcher Room.

The State of Grace offers southern cuisine with an upscale and original twist.  The sandwiches are incredible with notable items such as the fish sandwich and the hot chicken sandwich that comes with a vanilla “frostie”.  Also, the Sunday supper is worth checking out with southern classics of chicken fried steak and fried chicken.

If you love seeing colorful fish and marine wildlife then Downtown Aquarium will be a great treat. The exhibits are quite interesting and they even have a nice White Tiger exhibit and outdoor activities that are family friendly.  In addition, they have a nice restaurant on the premises that has a great view of the aquarium fish.

Paris is one of the world’s best destinations and has a lot to offer from the Louvre to shopping and fine Parisian cafes.  The city’s history is also very rich with noticeable points of interests such as Notre Dame and Victor Hugo house. For those of us who use wheelchairs, there is plenty of stuff that is fairly accessible.
