My Accessible Review
Parking is a little problematic for accessibility since it is located at the Sugar Land Town Square, where wheelchair accessible parking is at a premium. The entrance to the restaurant is relatively easy except for the double doors, but overall not much of a hassle if you don’t go at peak times.
Fortunately, the food is quite superb and offers unique burgers and crepes. This is no ordinary burger place and ingredients used are all fresh and organic. Also, the service is consistently great and I love that there are a few tables at the front that are easy access for my chair.
On this particular visit, I ordered the tasty Bruce Lee burger which is a blue cheese burger with caramelized onions and arugula. Also, I ordered two appetizers since I went with my family: crabbie patties and cannonballs.
Crabbie patties were crab cakes that are a little bit spicy but very delicious and the cannonballs are meatballs stuffed with jalapenos and bacon. You can’t go too wrong with these selections.
This place may not seem too inclusive of vegans, but there are few vegan appetizers and entrees worth trying out including the Captain Planet burger and yucca fries.
Bathrooms are a little small unfortunately since the place isn’t a large restaurant.
Overall, Guru Burger is a great place to have a bite to eat and provides great service. The accessibility is reasonably superb and the only downside is parking, but that is the nature of the game on the square, unfortunately.
