My Accessible Review
If you like Mediterranean food or Lebanese cuisine Phoenicia Deli is your place. It is quick and reasonably priced, but beware it is a self-serve establishment, so you will definitely need assistance when receiving food and drink. The menu items that make this place special is their humus and of course their shawarmas, which can be beef or chicken. Also, the shawarmas can either be a wrap or a bowl with rice pilaf. Both versions are superb and will certainly fill you up.
The inside of the restaurant is quite small, so you will most likely have a problem maneuvering during busy times. Luckily, they have several outside tables that are covered, which is my usual spot since the outside tables offer more room than the inside ones. Also, the front doors are a little heavy, so most people will need help opening the door. Lastly, the bathrooms are single occupancy and quite small, which will be problematic for most chair users.
Overall, Phoenicia Deli offers excellent food at a reasonable price, but some chair users will have a difficult time, so don’t be afraid to ask for assistance if you need help. This place is well worth the struggle.
