Enjoy an excellent selection of Mediterranean and American dishes for your next casual meal. On the weekends they have a nice brunch with an excellent boozy list. Also, they have a few fine locations throughout the Houston area.
Experience
I came on a slightly busy Sunday afternoon to the Katy location. There were a few tables available that were covered and I was able to get one in the back overlooking the shopping city plaza. The table was fairly easy for my manual wheelchair, though could be tight for some powered chairs.
Food
To start with my meal, I went with the Tuscan hummus as an appetizer. The hummus is red peppered based and comes with warm pita and can be paired with a selection of vegetables. The hummus was fairly decent, though I’m not much of a red pepper-based fan in general.
Next, I went with the gyro plate for my meal. The plate is fairly large and comes with a generous amount of beef and lamb, french fries, and a large pita. Also, the plate is complemented with tzatziki sauce, jalapeño hummus, and cucumber dill salad on the side. The gyro was fairly good and not too salty. Nevertheless, I was pretty full and wasn’t able to eat all of the gyro meat. Though I was able to finish the absolutely delicious fries. All said and done, I will probably try something else next time.

Local Table offers a nice casual dining experience with a wonderful neighborhood and family-friendly appeal. With excellent food and drink options, this is the place for weekend brunch or a quick meal.
