Enjoy affordable and excellent Mexican food at one of many Houston area locations. With nicer temperatures, enjoy their spacious patio with a nice margarita or sangria.
Experience
I visited the newer location in Sugar Land with the recently added outdoor patio. The patio is very spacious with fans and plenty of room to socially distance. My visit came on a Sunday afternoon and the patio wasn’t too crowded. Most of the tables were not too occupied.
To start everything off, I ordered the red sangria. it was on the drier side, but still very enjoyable on a warm day.
With regards to the complimentary tortilla chips, they are the standard restaurant fare. Though the chips are not pre-salted, a huge plus. However, the salsa was a tad spicy but intensely flavorful.
Finally, for my entree, I went with the combination fajitas with beef and chicken for one. They were extremely delicious and comparable to Lupe Tortilla. Though the tortillas at La Tapatia are much easier to work for me personally. The entree does come with Mexican rice, charro beans, and the usual fajita condiments. As a fajitas lover, I would definitely get this again.
Accessibility
The overall accessibility is excellent with no major concerns that may impact experience. Though, the bathroom may be a little small for most electric chairs. Outside of this issue, I would say both the patio and indoor areas are very accessible.

Verdict
La Tapatia offers excellent Mexican food while maintaining a nice local neighborhood feel that is quite rare these days. With affordable prices and convenience, I will definitely be back.
