Houston’s best French restaurant with an amazing Parisian flair. The food is top notched and the restaurant atmosphere is always so relaxing. Don’t forget to try their French Onion soup, which is phenomenal. Be aware the restaurant is very pricey and definitely worth visiting for a special occasion.
My Experience
I came on a Saturday evening around 5 and the restaurant was not crowded luckily. However, the restaurant became packed at around seven or so.
The food was just flat outstanding from the appetizer to the dessert. I started with the French onion soup.
This was by far the best French onion soup I ever had and they used excellent gruyere cheese and did not go light on the onions.
For the actual entree, I ordered the beef tenderloin with double fried french fries, a classic French cuisine item. The beef was quite juicy and had an excellent bearnaise sauce to go with it.
Lastly, I ordered a dark chocolate pastry for dessert, this used rich and warm chocolate. It was excellent and well worth being extremely stuffed.
Accessibility
The overall accessibility was quite adequate and with good planning and a reservation, anyone in a chair should have no problem eating here.
The tables are little close together so this restaurant could be a problem maneuvering around other people during peak hours. I recommend requesting to sit in the front of the restaurant and coming at the end of lunch or when they reopen for dinner.
Bathrooms were a little small and will be a problem for some people.
Overall, despite the restaurant being a little small, those of us in chairs should have no problem making this amazing restaurant work. The food is phenomenal and well worth the trip for a special occasion. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.
