B.B. Lemon is a casual New-American restaurant from the owner of B.B Butchers that offers excellent wagyu burgers and seafood options including the blue crab beignets. With high-quality food, you won’t be disappointed in much of their other options.
Experience
My visit came on a Sunday afternoon around 3 or so and the restaurant wasn’t very crowded. This was particularly nice since the restaurant is a fairly small building in the heart of Montrose. The tables can be a little close together, but very manageable during off-hours. Nevertheless, I found a spot in the back of the restaurant with a nice quiet table.
With food in mind, I started with the highly recommended blue crab beignets. The price tag is quite hefty for an appetizer, but after trying the beignets they are well worth the hype. With high-quality crab meat and a nice crispy shell, they were breathtakingly good. Don’t forget to dip them in the excellent dijon sauce as well. Certainly, an appetizer worth getting again.

Now to the entree, I went with the lobster roll with a hefty price of $28 and was a little skeptical at first. Nevertheless, the lobster roll was really good and had a nice cold white sauce on a buttered roll. Not the best lobster roll I’ have eaten but certainly a nice option for those craving a lobster roll. Also, I ordered a side of cottage fries to complement my lobster roll. The fries were really good and perfectly crispy the way I requested. Surprisingly, the fries were not too greasy and are great with the dijon sauce.

Accessibility

To start B.B. has adequate accessibility with one flaw that may impact the overall experience. This problem involves the parking and path to the restaurant. There are no steps, but the path is a little uneven until you get to the sidewalk. Also, there are no noticeable accessible parking spots shockingly. This wasn’t too of a problem for me during my visit, but limited parking spots will be problematic during peak hours, unfortunately. Despite the parking flaw, the inside of the restaurant is fairly accessible with easy access and no steps. The bathroom is accessible for manual chairs and some power chairs will fit the regular size bathroom.
With amazing American food and reasonable accessibility, B.B. Lemon provides a nice atmosphere that excels just like their exemplary sister restaurant B.B. Butchers.
