This Californian export has opened a few locations in the Houston area and Sugar Land is among the newest openings. As the name states, the restaurant is a family-friendly diner with black bear theme memorabilia.

If you notice Houston has many great, but expensive French restaurants. However, Eclair happens to be a more affordable option with excellent food. Also, the cafe has an exceptional bakery with amazing apple tarts and other baked French delicacies.
Hoggs N’ Chicks Review (Closed)
Hoggs N’ Chicks is locally owned and a reasonably priced restaurant providing more than just pork and chicken items. Their menu is quite expansive for an order at the counter type restaurant and they provide excellent customer service. Also, remember to have room for desert, their cobbler is quite excellent.
Torchy Tacos Review
Torchy Tacos is known for unique tacos that are nothing like your local Taco Bell. Their food uses fresh ingredients and is very affordable. Also, they have a special taco of the month that are usually worth trying.
La Madeleine Review
La Madeleine is known for their great French food from potato galettes to great salads and sandwiches. They are setup like a cafeteria where you get a tray for your food, but they food is better than most sit down restaurants.
IHOP Review
If you love breakfast all day then you most likely have been to IHOP at least once in your life. They are your typical run of the mill establishment, but they have great break fast items and the prices are quite affordable. This location is quite excellent and not too crowded in the evenings, which is a great plus.
