Lazy Dog just opened a new restaurant in Stafford. Dine on delicious American classics and enjoy their spacious pet-friendly patio.
Experience
My visit came on a busy Sunday afternoon and the patio was fairly crowded. I was able to find a table but had a bit of a wait for an actual server to come by. The restaurant appeared to be unorganized that afternoon. I ended up getting the manager since the staff was clearly understaffed. Though I won’t be too negative since the food was quite delicious and the restaurant is relatively new.
Food
To start off, I ordered the lettuce wraps and the fried hush puppies as appetizers.
The chicken lettuce wraps were quite delicious and on par with the famous PF Changs lettuce wraps. Moreover, this version had a spicier sauce and sturdier spinach lettuce. This was complemented with delicious sautéed chicken cubes.
Fried hush puppies were extremely tasty and stuffed with pork and mashed potatoes. They also come with a delightful remoulade sauce on the side. I would definitely get them again.
Next, I went with the blue cheese burger for my entree.
The burger was the usual run-of-the-mill blue cheese burger. Though it was very good and very filling. It also comes with a tasty side of fries. I would certainly order it again if I’m craving a burger.
Accessibility
The overall accessibility is quite good, though there was one disappointing quirk. There was a lack of accessible parking near the restaurant entrance. About four accessible spots were available in total. Outside of this issue, the accessibility did not ruin my overall experience. Though be aware accessibility may be impacted during peak dining hours, especially for indoor dining.

Verdict
Lazy Dog offers excellent comfort food and a nice local neighborhood atmosphere alongside the spacious outdoor patio. It is the perfect place for your lovable furry friend or your next casual family gathering.
