  1. Houston Museum of Natural Science
    Satisfy your personal enrichment by viewing the many excellent exhibits from fossils to Ancient Egypt. Also, space lovers shouldn’t forget to check out the planetarium. With phenomenal space shows you will be in for a treat. $$

  2. Space Center Houston-NASA
    The space center is an exceptional museum that pays homage to everything NASA. With space shuttles replicas, astronaut gear, and more, this is a must for families and space buffs. Also, they have a nice IMAX theater with excellent space documentaries worth checking out as well. $$

  3. Downtown Aquarium
    Beat the heat with this fantastic aquarium and enjoy all of the aquatic animals from fish to amphibians. Don’t forget to see the rare white tiger exhibit and the stingrays. Also, there is a nice restaurant on site with an excellent view of hundreds of colorful fish as well. $$-$$$

  4. Moody Gardens
    This Galveston indoor entertainment center has nice exhibits of animals from Penguins to Amazon River Otters. Most importantly, most of Moody Gardens is covered and Palm Beach has ramps into the wave pool and lazy river. $$

  5. Enjoy a concert at Smart Financial Centre or Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
    This summer why not attend a concert of your favorite musician. No matter your favorite genre, both venues will offer a nice diversity this summer. Also, accessible seating at both events offers great views regardless of your price level. $$-$$$
