Located at Houston’s gaudy Post Oak hotel. Discover one of Houston’s most underrated seafood restaurants. With a nice offerings of Louisiana influenced food to international flair. Easy to be overwhelmed with choices.

Experience
My visit was on a Saturday evening around 6 or so. This restaurant wasn’t too crowded with the dinner crowds just yet. I did have a reservation to be safe especially with the Post Oak Hotel crowds. My table was in the corner away from major restaurant traffic. And I was able to fit my wheelchair fairly well.
Food
I started everything off with the white sangria. This came with top shelved elderflower liqueur and chardonnay. Was very good, though a little bit sweeter than most Sangria. Definitely drinkable if you like dessert wine or have a sweet tooth.
Next, I ordered the New Orleans special for an appetizer. This comes with lobster and shrimp sautéed in Cajun spices. This was absolutely delicious and came with a nice hint of butter and lemon. A worthy item to order when in season.
I ordered the Lobster tail and 6 ounce steak. The best part was the magnificent lobster cooked in butter and delicious Cajun spices. The steak was good, though could use more sauce and seasonings. I would order this again just for the lobster and would order bearnaise sauce for the steak.
For dessert, I ordered the butterscotch bread pudding. By far the most popular dessert with fellow diners. This decadent treat comes with caramel and crushed pretzels alongside a generous scoop of butterscotch. This mouthwatering cake is fairly huge, so make sure to save room. By far the best bread pudding in all of Houston.

Overall, the service was very good and did an excellent job with recommendations and accommodating my needs.
