Experience

My visit came on a Saturday afternoon for an early dinner and the restaurant wasn’t too busy. Not a huge restaurant, but with a reservation is fairly manageable. Though be sure to come before evening music if you wish to avoid crowds.

Nevertheless, I was able to choose my table and went with one of the wooden tables in the library section. Was a tight fight with my manual chair but was able to fit under most of the table. For future reference, will probably go with a table in the main dining area.

Now with regards to my meal, I ordered the open faced sandwich with shrimp. This comes with chilled salad shrimp, white aioli and bite sized avocado on fresh Danish rye. Also, it comes with fried potatoes and a side salad. The sandwich was really delicious and comes with a generous amount of deshelled shrimp. And I particularly enjoyed the lemon sauce and the Danish rye. A nice touch on smorrebrod or Danish sandwiches without flying to Denmark. I would definitely get this again.

Accessibility

The restaurant has great accessibility with some minor flaws that can be addressed with proper planning and making reservations during peak hours.

  • Accessible parking in front of the restaurant
  • Cutaway next to the parking spots
  • Step-free paths
  • Inside of the restaurant has easy access for manual wheelchairs
