I stayed at the Burgundy Hotel in western Little Rock, Arkansas. Burgundy happens to be the only boutique hotel in all of Little Rock. With the charming French countryside theme, the hotel was nice and cozy, though I was disappointed in a few aspects.

The biggest issue was the hotel wasn’t as accessible as depicted. There were many areas including the hotel’s restaurant, Table 28 was not fully accessible, including the outdoor patio. With the pandemic ongoing, I was uncomfortable eating indoors. Though the hotel offers room service, I was looking for a relaxing outdoor experience. However, I ended up going to YaYas Bistro both days. The other issue was the number of mask-less guests and hotel employees. As a Hilton property, I was perplexed by the lack of safety protocols exhibited during my stay.

Fortunately, my hotel room was accessible and had a walk-in shower with a shower seat. The room was easy to navigate and areas were wheelchair level including the desk area, nightstand, and bathroom sink.
The room was clean and cozy, though the overall experience was lackluster. Not a bad hotel in many regards, however; with the lack of Covid protocols and partial accessibility, I will not be back.
