Bruges is one of Europe’s most underrated cities and is nicknamed “Venice of the North” with all the canals. It was settled sometime in the 10th century and has a rich history with majestic cathedrals and is known for their Christmas markets as well.
As I found out, the city is a little difficult to maneuver with the cobblestone streets and I would highly recommend traveling with someone that can provide assistance if you can. This is definitely a can’t miss city if you have the help.
